  • Purpose: Raises global awareness and mobilizes efforts by governments, civil society, and stakeholders to eliminate child labour

  • Global Burden: An estimated 160 million children are in child labour—nearly 1 in every 10 children globally

  • Regional Distribution: Africa, Asia, and the Pacific together account for almost 90% of child labour cases
