  • The campaign aims to organize over one lakh health camps at Ayushman Arogya Mandirs and Community Health Centres nationwide to improve healthcare access and awareness.

  • It is a joint initiative by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) and the Ministry of Women and Child Development (MoWCD). 

  • The primary aim is to strengthen healthcare services for women and children by improving access, ensuring quality care, and raising awareness. 

  • It encourages active participation from private hospitals and citizens to foster inclusive healthcare. 

Key Features: 

  • Comprehensive Screenings:  

  • The campaign will offer extensive health screenings for women, covering conditions like anaemia, hypertension, diabetes, and cancers. 

  • Maternal & Child Care:  

  • It focuses on reducing maternal and child mortality by strengthening immunisation services and providing nutritional support.  

  • Antenatal check-ups and Mother and Child Protection (MCP) cards are also key components. 

  • Digital Monitoring:  

  • The initiative will be monitored in real-time through the SASHAKT portal to ensure transparency and efficiency in its implementation. 

  • Community Engagement:  

  • The campaign involves Nikshay Mitras to support community health goals, particularly tuberculosis eradication.
