Prima facie investigations revealed a toilet was constructed directly over a drinking water line without a safety tank, causing leakage
Despite complaints starting in October 2025, officials delayed action.
Swachh Survekshan 2024-25 Awards:
President of India conferred the awards, with Indore, Surat, and Navi Mumbai entering the Super Swachh League.
New Clean Cities likeAhmedabad, Bhopal, and Lucknow emerged as top performers in the Swachh Shehar category.
